The Borne Community Network Organisation (TBCNO) is a not-for-profit faith-based Kenyan organisation dedicated to eradicating poverty through promoting education, skills development, climate resilience initiatives and socio-economic empowerment. We operate in vulnerable communities, particularly within Busia and Kakamega counties.

In many of our communities, bright minds are dimmed by poverty, lack of access to education, and absence of mentorship. BCN steps into this gap—restoring hope, unlocking talent, and building pathways to purpose.
We believe that every child deserves more than survival—they deserve opportunity, dignity, and a future filled with possibility. Through holistic interventions, we nurture confident learners, responsible leaders, and resilient change-makers.
Community-Led Partnership: We do not work for communities, we work with them. By partnering with schools, families, churches, and local leaders, we create safe spaces where young people are seen, heard, and equipped to thrive.

Education & Mentorship
Community-led and faith-driven, our programs support children and youth in rural western Kenya. Through scholarships, academic support, and leadership mentorship, we break barriers of poverty to help learners stay in school and transition to higher education.
Livelihoods & Protection
We equip youth with vocational training, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy for long-term economic independence. Simultaneously, our initiatives promote child protection, health, and safe environments so youth thrive physically and spiritually.
Climate & Stewardship
We integrate climate awareness and environmental stewardship to build sustainable community resilience. By partnering closely with families, schools, and local organizations, we foster local ownership and create lasting environmental impact.

20+ Students
Higher Education Scholarships
We have supported over 20+ students in accessing higher education through scholarship assistance that complements the financial contributions made by the Government of Kenya—easing parental burdens and ensuring dreams aren't stopped by financial constraints.
50+ Trained
Life Skills Development
Providing practical life skills training to over 50 students extending beyond the classroom. Programs focus on leadership, communication, decision-making, personal growth, career planning, financial responsibility, and character development.
Weekly
Mentorship & Spiritual Growth
Through weekly knowledge-sharing sessions, students discuss education, relationships, leadership, and aspirations. These gatherings share the Word of God, nurturing spiritual growth, strong moral values, and a clear sense of purpose.
Digital Access
Digital Inclusion Support
We provide laptops to students joining higher education, particularly those pursuing Information and Communication Technology (ICT), enabling them to participate effectively in digital learning and modern innovation.
School Labs
ICT Infrastructure Expansion
Equipped the ICT Laboratory at Sirimba Model School with computers and key learning resources. We are actively expanding this model to equip selected schools in every ward across the project area.
